Today’s Energy: A tad tired from back-to-back shifts, but grounded. I now have a few days off to rest up.
1 small win at work: I had to work a Saturday, a Sunday second-shift, and come back in this morning for yet another 8-hour shift. And add the “first of the month” madness into it all to overwhelm my senses! And on Saturday, monsoon-like rains and tornado warnings in my area made the commute home very wet! All that madness, and yet, I survived.
1 small win at home: I fed my cat before work, even though I was rushed. She makes sure that I feed her that half-can of moist food, either when I wake up or after I get out of shower. That cat knows when it’s mealtime!
1 small win for myself: When I got home from work, I gave a few minutes of my time to pet my cat. She usually waits for me at the front door when I come in. Normally, after a crazy day(s) at work, I would just go to sleep. Today, I actually made time to both pet my cat and to write for the blog.
What helped today: My cat waiting for me at the door. That little routine when I walk in.
What was hard today: Late night, early morning, low battery.
That’s enough for today. In progress. Until next time, I’m outta here…
